What our tools collect

The word tools run entirely in your browser. The letters, patterns and guesses you type are processed on your device and are not transmitted to our servers.

The Daily Unscramble game saves your stats, streak and the current day's guesses in your browser's local storage so they are there when you come back. That data stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser settings.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when pages are requested, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are retained only for a limited period.
